Silirub S is an acetoxy-curing silicone specially formulated as a sanitary sealant for use in areas prone to water and condensation such as bathrooms and kitchens. It provides a permanent elastic seal to provide a waterproof barrier. Ideal for us in shower trays, sinks and bathtubs.
Once cured the sealant remains totally water resistant and will form a flexible, durable seal with good resistance to abrasion and common detergents. Good adhesion to glass, most acrylics, ceramics and anodised aluminium. Also has mould-resistant compounds to protect against mould growth and blackening.
